Zimar Group, with group company Hightec Energy, has concluded a $1.9 billion agreement with the Nigerien State to design, finance, build and operate a 100,000 barrel-per-day refinery and petrochemical complex at Dosso. It will be built in phases, starting with a 30,000 barrel-per-day first train. Structured as a build-operate-transfer concession, the asset transfers to the Republic of Niger at the end of its operating term.

Once onstream, Dosso is positioned to rank among the three largest refineries in West Africa by capacity — roughly five times the size of Niger's existing refining base.
Dosso is the group’s flagship development. Alongside it, Zimar delivers feasibility, FEED, engineering and project-management work through its group companies, from offices in North America, the Caribbean, the United Kingdom and West Africa.
A 100,000 bpd refinery built in three trains, with eight products from gasoline, diesel and jet fuel to LPG, base oils, bitumen and propylene.
